Travelers to Penang have a fresh and exciting option to enhance their experience with the introduction of the Penang Bridge Sunset Cruise, presented by Penang Port Sdn. Bhd.
This initiative by the state-run agency is designed to enrich the existing ferry services. In partnership with the SeaQueen Stephanie Yacht Club, the Penang Bridge Sunset Cruise offers an array of package deals, which include promotional events, ticketing, buffets, and other suitable entertainments. As of now, this cruise service is operational only on Saturdays and Sundays, between 5pm to 8pm. Setting sail from the Tun Raja Uda Base terminal located close to George Town, the cruise heads towards the Penang Bridge. Adult tickets are priced at RM148, while tickets for children below 12 are available at RM98.
The CEO of Penang Port commented on the unique offerings for tourists, highlighting the picturesque sea views of Penang, the delightful sunset vistas, and the added pleasure of a buffet on board. Looking ahead, there are plans to extend the route to Gurney Drive following the completion of the Gurney Bay project, with the ferry’s capacity to host over 100 passengers at a time.
