Singapore Zoo is home to more than 4,200 animals with 300 species. Here you can feed animals yourself at the feeding programme. Get closer to wildlife and learn the animal care process, discover their unique trait and get the opportunity to witness the presentation done by the trained animals and zookeepers. Book in advance the Singapore Zoo tickets from redBus at cheaper than counter rates.
To get to Mandai Wildlife Reserve, take the train to any of the MRT stations and board a connecting bus.
The Wild Side is less than an hour's drive from the City! Simply get on the Thomson-East Coast Line & take a short bus journey on 138.
Shuttle services are also available. In 20 minutes, arrive at Mandai Wildlife Reserve! Daily shuttle service to our wildlife parks is offered from Khatib MRT Station (NS14). During business hours, buses arrive every 15 minutes, between 11 p.m. and 12 a.m.
You can hire a taxi at The Mandai East Carpark (Car Park 2). Taxis that are booked out of Mandai Wildlife Reserve (Bird Paradise, Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, and River Wonders) charges $5. This fee is charged every day between 1:00 and 11:59 p.m.
Parents can travel with infants with rented strollers. It can accommodate 1 child with a maximum 15 kg weight. These strollers are available at SGD 15. For younger children they can rent a wagon that can accommodate 2 children of 35 kg. These wagons are available at SGD 18.
Rented wheelchairs are available for visitors with limited mobility. You can book these services on the counter.

Free shuttle rides are available on the Mandai Khatib Shuttle from Singapore Zoo, River Wonders and Night Safari to Mandai Wildlife WEST Bus Bay.
The walking and the cycling path is partially open. The cyclist has to go on the public road for the first 100m from Singapore Zoo. Visitors on foot have to use the pedestrian footpath.

Outside food is not allowed. There are various food options available inside the zoo in case you are hungry.

The Zoo attracts nearly 2 million visitors yearly.
Although these macaques/ monkeys live in the zoo they are wild and are not taken care of by the zoo keepers. Hence, it is recommended not to approach them.
